The last time we saw that Forbes magazine has been publishing their annual list of the world top richest men. Among the top, Ingvar Kamprad place on number 7 of the wealthiest men.
When we all hear about Ingvar Kamprad, we must relates him with IKEA, the word’s largest furniture company. What surprise us is, though he has been on the top billionaires list for years now, he actually does not own IKEA, and none owned the company. It is actually held by the foundation, legally governed under Dutch laws for charities, which turns the control to a group to run IKEA’s operations.
In responsible with tangled web of corporations, foundations, and tax shelters is IKANO, a Sweedish group also owned by the Kamprad family. In 2008, it owned 25% of Habitat, another large European based furniture company. The state of the art is, different people has different ways to archive victory, you choose your own path. Till then
